She thinks she's gonna be a rock star! Jovi and Brauk both like to play guitar and Brooke plays the keyboard. There is really NEVER silence in our house.

For those of you keeping up with everything...here is my sisters' house. I am so proud of her for getting her life on track and keeping it together. Life is never easy with divorce but she is handling her loss like a CHAMP!

Sometimes I wonder if I can take anymore noise around here...but, here is proof that they do sleep, you just have to outlast them.

This is the outcome of Brookelynn riding a bike. We have been hit with mega medical bills lately. I broke my scapula & 3 ribs and earned myself a mediflight trip; then, Brooke broke her wrist. None of us are too graceful!

This is my friend, Tammy, giving Brauk a haircut. Unfortunately, we couldn't convince him to cut it ALL off! Anybody feel like they are reliving high school again?

This is Jovi and her sidekick, Morgan...my "other" child. These 2 have been inseparable all summer. Currently, we are going on 6 nights at our house. Would you believe Morgan is 2 years older than Jovi?

Well...I don't have any pictures to post and not a whole lot of new news but thought I would take a minute and post the latest. Brookelynn broke her wrist this past weekend. She was at the lake with her mom and fell of a bike. She was pretening to play baseball as she fell and slid right into home...belly first. Her whole front side is skinned up. She has been a good camper and got herself a pretty BRIGHT pink cast.

Jovi got her yellow belt in Karate. She seems to have found her niche...is that the word I am looking for? She has told me that she has "things to do" with her summer and in other words, does not have time for family stuff. Someone has set the standard that summers are for traveling and spending lots of time away from mom and dad! She is 8 going on 30!

Brauk is singing the blues because his girlfriend has been out of town for a couple of weeks. You would think he was a lost pup. We spent the day today with dentist appointments and Brauk's reenactment of the person who cleans his teeth is hilarious! He compares it to someone taking an ice pik and stabbing at your gums...can't convince him that flossing might solve his problem! Go figure. Although...I can say that I think he brushes his teeth a WHOLE lot more now that he has a girlfriend.

Kenneth and I are still great. I am beginning my 6 days on at work...always a lot of fun, 6 twelve hour shifts in a row. I am a little hormonal and Kenneth deals with it so graciously. That's it for now, have a great night!

Well...finally, I have got to a point where I felt like I could sit down and start this crazy blog. David and his wife gave me the idea; however, I can't promise to be as dedicated as they have been to theirs.

This is the latest pic I have of all of us. I am very proud of my beautiful family and can't believe how big all 3 of the kids are getting. Brauk is going into 10th grade, Brooke into 6th and Jovi into 3rd grade. Jovi and Brooke will be at the same school this year and they will either get along great or kill each other- there is no in between with them, it's either one or the other. Brauk is going to school in Moore where he lives with Rachel. I miss having him around here but understand how it is when you have divorced parents and want to be with both of them. That's life I guess, at least for us. I like having all 3 of our kids here at home and really enjoy the times when we are all together. We are blessed with good kids.

Kenneth and I are WONDERFUL! Just one minute to brag and I'll quit! I have the best husband in the whole world! God has really blessed our relationship and lives and watches over us all the time (he has to because we are both so different)...I guess that's what makes us a great pair.

I have 2 more semesters of nursing school and am so darn ready! It couldn't come sooner for me and I am sure for my family also. Jovi always complained to her teacher last year that all I ever do is study! She made me sound so horrible. My only hope is that she will see how hard it has been for me and not wait as long as I have to figure out what I want to do with my life. Although...now that I know I want to be a nurse, I am so indecisive as to what kind! Go figure! I like it all and don't want to have to make up my mind.

Well...guess that's it for now, will try to keep up with this thing...but, don't hold me to my word.
